(Saturday 6pm)

As the girls make it to the helicopter Nick is at the corner rock emptying his gun magazine on the approaching Aryans. This holds them back only for so long, and they’re coming full force with heavy fire. Nick urges the girls to take off.

Claudia is hysterical, and Shena is heart-torn but realizes they have to take off. One last loving look into Nick’s scared eyes, and she taps Sanjee on the shoulder.

The helicopter takes off, Claudia is screaming in agony to her dad left behind, and Nick is badly bleeding and out of ammunition. 

Shena and Claudia stay on Nick as the helicopter continues moving away. Suddenly they see Nick standing up and walking away from his sheltered corner, directly towards the Aryans that are closing in on him. 

They can’t see or hear what is happening, the helicopter is loud and the mountain side blocks their view, but then as the helicopter is over the mountain top they get a clear frame of the action:

Claudia and Shena are both horrified from what they are seeing, just as Peter - at the head of the Aryan “army” and the closest one to Nick with a gun pointed at his head - raises his own head towards the helicopter, locking hateful and crazed eyes with Claudia for a long minute (we also see that Sunjee and Peter possibly know each other).

Stay on Claudia’s teary eyes and Shena’s revengeful look as the helicopter flies away from Nick, injured, left alone in a living hell. 

(Saturday night)

Nick is tied in a village dungeon - hands and feet stretched out to the sides. His dislocated shoulder and wounded thigh put in these angles are already a hell of a pain, but in addition he is being brutally tortured by Peter. 

Not only does Peter want Claudia back, but Nick - he is the guy that ended up impregnating Anna - the love of Peter's life. Losing her was the catalyst for his heart blackening. All the evil of this world, which Peter embraces on a daily basis - are all to be blamed on this Nick fellow! 

Nick doesn’t know all of this back story yet, but he can definitely feel the pain of what’s going through Peter’s head, on his own physical body.

Sanjee, Claudia and Shena are back at Sanjee’s cabin. Claudia is in some state of shock, while Shena and Sanjee try to figure things out. 

After making some quick calls it dawns on them that the authorities will not help - but instead protect the Aryans of Spiti Valley. They need to plan a rescue to get Nick back all by themselves - but that is simply impossible. They decide on a better approach.

Shena takes the rental car down to Rishikesh, hoping to get some more help from the lower level police down there - they might not be a part of the higher government-level cover up.

Setup shots of Anna (Claudia’s mother, 48) at her community home near Hamburg, Germany. She is tutoring a small class of youngsters - the children of the community she lives in. In strong contrast to Spiti Valley (where she grew up), the kids here live in an open loving environment. 

Anna is funny, loving and patient. The kids adore her. The subject of their class today is global warming. The little children show considerable knowledge on recycling and such topics. An adorable scene. With that Anna’s cell phone rings. She walks towards it and picks up. “Hello?”

Claudia is calling her mom from Sanjee’s study room. Upon hearing her mother’s voice she bursts into uncontrollable sobbing. 

Anna, alarmed, tries to calm her daughter down and understand what’s wrong.

Anna tells what has happened over the past days, that she’s been through hell and now dad is caught. Claudia doesn't know what to do. 

Anna is terrified from what she hears. Although not up to date with all that became of Peter since she left him over 30 years ago, she knows all about Spiti Valley and its dangers. 

Anna changes gears from the loving hippie to a defiant woman. In great urgency she tells Claudia to get to a specific hotel in Mumbai. 

“Mama loves you sweetie. Don’t worry about your father now honey, he’ll have to manage. You HAVE to leave the mountains first thing in the morning. It is NOT safe for you there. Get yourself to Mumbai as soon as you’re able, I’m coming to get you on the first flight.”

Maria - Peter's young sister is now also caught, and brought to be chained and tortured right next to Nick in the same dark dungeon. Painful torture scene - remenising of Nazi stories. Peter inflicts pain on her, revenging her brother Leo’s great betrayal.

(Sunday 5am)

Sanjee naps on his living room armchair next to the fireplace, a shotgun lying in his lap. Claudia is sleeping in the nearby room - but moving uncomfortably. She’s clearly having some kind of a nightmare. 

Suddenly some movement in and around the dark cabin. We’re not sure what we see…. A door cracks open, steps… Sanjee wakes up to see a gun staring at his face. Three Aryans fully armed standing right there. 

They continue to the back room where Claudia sleeps, but she’s not there.

(Sunday 6am) 

In the dungeon, Nich at his final strengths - it has been some 12 straight hours of pure torture, of both him and Maria.

Up in his room Peter by now is just an exploding ball of anger, but is delighted to hear the news that Caudia has been captured and is on her way back to the village right now.

He runs down to the dungeon to share the exciting news with Nick - “everything is OK - She’s coming back!!”

Nick can’t believe his ears. His poor girl. For the first time in this series we see a teardrop going down his cheek. 

Peter: “That’s exactly what you get for dirtying pure bloods Nick. Nobody’s happy. You should have thought about this before you ever touched her!! Thank the Gods I paid attention! I could have easily missed this God given present sent back to me after all these years!”

Nick has no clue what this nutcase wants from him. He has no way of connecting this whole speech to Anna - Claudia’s mother, and back to him. This entire reference goes over his head for now. 

Shena arrives to Rishikesh, goes straight to the police station: “There’s a Nazi village up on the mountis, a girl and hear father have been kidnapped, the girl escaped, the father is still there and wounded, we need help!

The police officer is slow moving, and slow to understand. He is not sure what to make of this, but remembers the call he got earlier today asking him to report any suspicious citizen requests. He makes a phone call.

Sanjee & Claudiad being transported in a small jeep. We learn that the villagers have secret ways of transporting up the mountains with considerable shortcuts.

As they get closer to the village, Sanjee makes an attempt to overtake their captures. He manages to move the driver’s wheel with his feet and ram the jeep into a big rock.

After the crash and a short fight - Sanhee dies, but

Claudia - now with a broken ankle from the car crash - manages to escape on foot. 

(Sunday noon) 

Upon hearing of Claudia’s escape, Peter loses it.

He goes back down to the dungeon, and releases his anger on his two prisoners, then brutally slaughters Maria right in front of Nick.

Nick is left alone with Maria’s bloody body dangling right next to him. By now he’s in and out of consciousness, and the only sound echoing in the room is her drops of blood hitting the floor.

He doses into hallucinational memories:

Flashback: short beats: Young Nick is an exchange student in Germany, meets Anna in his first Oktoberfest Party, they have a beautiful love affair, then he leaves back to America, he is a junior worker at a big ferm, gets a phone call about Anna being pregnant, he apologizes but cannot leave his fresh position for which he worked so hard to get. 

These memories then turn nightmarish - faster flashes of young Claudia - 8 years old, crying when he has to leave her after a too short of a visit. He then sees the same scene with a 16 year old Claudia, and then again with 25 year old Claudia, he can hear her screaming his name, extreme close up of her dirty, sweaty face, in some sort of great effort.

Back to Now: 

Extreme close up of Claudia’s dirty, sweaty face as she’s on the run. She is hurt (broken ankle) like a wounded animal, walking without any expression. Dog barks getting louder and louder

Shena at the Rishikesh Police Station. Two men enter, and start a heated conversation with Shena: “That’s not the first time you’ve made outrageous trafficking-related accusations. We all remember your problematic past in the police task and why you got discharged”. 

Shena realizes what is happening, and stands up to force her way out of there. She manages to easily escape the two men, only to meet more of them waiting outside. 

A high-ranking older agent steps out of a fancy car. He is well dressed, and well groomed. Obviously not in his regular environment. He approaches Shena, who is now held by two other agents and being walked to a police car.

“The government won’t have you start new rumors Shena, the Himalayas are out of reach. You have to come with us now”. 

With this classic setup tactic to slow down a potential enemy, they take her in. 

Back to the village: Peter pulls Nick by the hair, dragging him out of the dungeon towards the outskirts of the village. Nick, badly wounded and only semi-conscious, deserves a specially public and painful execution, and Peter is about to throw him down to the lower part of the Valley where the dogs could eat him alive, or whatever is left of him, in front of everyone to see! 

Terrifying scene. Peter stands there, holding a semi conscious Nick by the hair, just over a high cliff. Frantic dog barks from below. The villagers are all out, watching in great fear and obedience. 

“In the name of the great Aryan order and my fathers and forefathers that came before me, I shall take revenge on our young brothers and sisters, taken from us. Poor Leo that was led astray, and his lovable young sister Maria that had to pay such a horrible price for her brother’s sins… and Erica - oh Erica!  Never shall we forget or rest in protection of these sacred grounds, never shall we fear enemies from out or from within!”.  

Peter now pulls Nick to the edge and just as this is about to happen - we hear screams:

“Peter!! Peter I’m here, let me in!”

Claudia is standing in front of the massive front gate, screaming at the top of her lungs:

“You can have me. Let my father go!! Take me instead!!! ; Peter! ; Peter!!!”

Both Peter and Nick cannot believe their ears.
