Following the Journey of 4 western people who experience life change at the Kumbha Mela festival.
The Kumbh Mela (the festival of the sacred pitcher) is anchored in Hindu mythology. It is the largest public gathering and collective act of faith, anywhere in the world. The Mela draws tens of millions of pilgrims over the course of approximately 48 days to bathe at the sacred confluence of the Ganga. Primarily, this congregation includes Ascetics, Saints, Sadhus, Sadhvis, Kalpvasis, and Pilgrims from all walks of life.

Following the lives of sex trafficking survivors, the series takes the viewer on a journey of discovery, from how the victims are lured into modern slavery through the daily life and death struggle that becomes their reality, and the incredible actions of slave-hunter Aaron Cohen and other officers, activists, and heroes that risk everything to rescue them while fighting opposing forces of great financial and political powers.

Inspired by true events. In 1965 the Central Intelligence Agency recruited 14 of America’s premier mountain-climbers and sent them on three exposition missions to place nuclear-powered instruments on two peaks of the Himalayas, in order to spy on Chinese atomic tests, missile firings and other hostile acts.
Met with extreme weather conditions, one of the nuclear power packs was carried away in an avalanche and lost on the Indian banks of the Himalayas. The device was never found. And until the plutonium deteriorates, which may take centuries, the device will remain a radioactive menace that could leak into the Himalayan snow feeding the headwaters of the Ganges River, which is sacred to the Hindus and used by the entire population of India.
That, or the recent climate changes speeding up the melting of the snow will simply reveal the device to the forces of the Taliban that now control that area where it was lost. Radioactive is an edge of your seat thriller involving major forces in play in a race to find the device: USA, India, China and Taliban.
